BeachBody MLM opportunity is a multilevel marketing company that focuses on health and wellness. It was founded in 1998 by to individuals by the name of Carl Daikeler and John Congdon. It is documented that this company's ideology believes and giving “100% effort rather than taking shortcuts” and that “progress is better than perfection”.

Even though they have a multilevel marketing strategy they also use infomercials, direct response, and e-commerce to market their products.


Products

The products consist of weight loss, fitness and muscle building exercise routines. These routines are usually given by coaches or home videos.

Two of their products that gained national attention was the:

1. PX 90 series - this series includes:

  • 12 workouts that are targeted toward increasing metabolism and muscle development
  • A fitness guide as well as nutrition plan, 24/7 support that tracks your progress.  

2. Insanity - an intense interval training that ensures results within 60 days and includes:

21 Day Fix - A program that encourages you to eat the right portions of food to lose the weight you desire.

Body Beast - a professional program that is separated into three sections to help gain muscle definition in your body

Pi Yo - a combination of Pilates and Yoga put together to promote total body definition. This contains workouts for:

  • Fundamentals
  • Lower body
  • Upper body
  • Sweat
  • Drench
  • Sculpt
  • Strength Intervals

Hip Hop Abs - a full body workout that combines cardio and sculpting that includes ab defining moves.

Beach body also has a community of over 350,000 distributors (coaches) along with the online support. Another feature that they have that inspires member participation is the Beach Body Challenge contest where they reward anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars for getting fit with their workout programs.

They also have a Beach Body On Demand feature that gives their members access to thousands of dollars worth of fitness content to make make it convenient for their members to access their products anywhere.

Representatives (Coaches)

Beach Body Reps (Coaches) have the ability to make money from the direct customers as well as building a team of their own coaches.

If they sell a product, they get a one time commission. However if the products they sell requires an auto ship monthly, that rep gets a residual income every month based off that product.

They also have Team Cycle Bonuses, where the majority of their reps make most of their money.
